Paranoia

paranoia
There are times when I feel like this but in the end I think that I don't care what they all know as long as I am happy.

Fighting Temptation

temptation
Do not fight temptation. You only lose.

You're my temptation.

And so they say that to overcome it, one should not fight it. Instead, find another thing to focus your attention on. See, if you try to fight it, the more you think about it and the more that it overpowers you. And it would come to the point that you would have to succumb to it.

However, if you would be focusing your attention on another thing, you slowly forget about the temptation. And you may not notice it but you would have totally flushed it out of your system.

That's just it. Now I need something new to focus on.

Text Language Sucks

If one thing was made for just one thing, then let it just stay there. I hate people using the text language (read: SMS lingo) even outside mobile phones. Sure it takes up less space and also means less time writing (or typing it) but hey, reading the real words is far easier. I mean I hate reading all those misspelled words. I am not a perfect speller, that I tell you but reading a word that has been spelled wrong is far better than a word that has been purposely spelled wrong. Heck! It's not even cute to look at - but I think that's what they all believe. And yeah, a paragraph that seems to go on and on and on just because there are no punctuation marks? Wow. And then you tell me that I am kinda slow because I don't know how to read the 'in' language. Please. I'd rather be considered old school.

So there. That's just my two cents. And just leave the text language to the mobile phones. The rest, please do try to spell them out. I mean call yourself a bad speller but you can definitely change that if you wanted to. Practice, people. Practice. Heck, even the Filipino language is getting murdered by the text lingo. A little effort wouldn't hurt.

Poor Sky :(

My son fell off his bike a couple of days ago. I was asleep when that happened. People at home were downstairs and they were doig their usual - cleaning, looking up things, etc.

Sky has been riding his bicycle inside our home for a long time already. But that morning, I don't know what went in his head. He decided to drive his bike straight right into the door that led outside our home. It would have been good if there was not that one step up. But there was and that was why he fell off.

He now has a huge wound on his face because of falling off and falling straight down. Poor Sky. I'm glad though he's taking things bravely.

For All The Wrong Reasons

STD results
People sometimes think of the weirdest things to have a reason to call up somebody. After all, it's an excuse. Some people just don't have the courage to call up somebody just because they wanted to call 'em up. Sad.

Who is Atomicgirl?
Atomicgirl is a single mom who is currently jobless. Well, she does freelance SEO and writing jobs and that keeps her busy. She dreams of being a professional photographer and she dreams of owning her very own dSLR. She loves the Internet and she also collects movies, and good reads. She considers herself to be a fan of Johnny Depp and David Cook. At present, her constant source of happiness is her son, James Nicholas Sky, who is a bubbly and talkative two-and-a-half-year old. Although Atomicgirl graduated with a BA Communication Research degree, this feisty Bicolana is quite satisfied with the industry that she is involved in right now. She now lives in Legazpi City although she sometimes misses the fun times she had during her 6-year stay in the jungle of Manila. She is a woman. She is a writer. She is a mother. And she is most definitely not a saint.
