I had a fun day yesterday.

I was supposed to go to the office at around 11am or even later to work on some of my team's pending tasks because of brownouts and slow internet connections. But as early as a little past 9am, one of my team members texted me and told me that there was no electricity in the office.

So okay. I told them to wait and I rushed to the office.

I found three of them waiting at the lobby. They told me that the electricity has been out since 3am as what the guard has told them. So okay. We waited until a quarter past 10 and still, there was no electricity.

We decided to go to Charlie's house and there we played a couple of rounds of billiards (well, they played. I didn't know how.) and had lunch. The kangkong with bagoong was superb! Yum! We wanted to go swimming because it was quite stifling hot.

Charlie took out some of his clothes and lent them to us. We didn't have any extra clothes with us except for what we had on. We went to Carmela's in Busay, Daraga and had fun there. The pool was just at the right temperature and it was also not that deep. Just right, I tell you and there were only us and two college girls who I guess were practicing swimming for their PE subject.

It was a really fun thing to do. Impromptu swimming. Haha. All five of us - Juliet, Jhong, Leonel, Charlie, and I - had loads of fun and laughter and hours of dipping in the pool.

Mind you, Juliet and I weren't weren't any undies. Haha. Who cared? And good thing there weren't any cameras around or else it was evidence.

Last night, a friend sent me this text message:

A couple of friends did send in their answers.

Well, these have meanings. I don't know where and with whom all of these started but I actually don't believe much in messages like this. In fact, I could make one myself and just do away with whatever meaning I could think of. (Now that's a thought. I may start one and see just how far it could go... Hmmm...)

I am so tired.

It started last Tuesday. The internet connection was quite so slow so we decided that we just go home early and pay back the unworked hours the following days.

And so we went home early and off we went to our colleague's (Juliet) place in Sto. Domingo. I really was so envious of their music room! I wanna have one just like that! I mean, I could possibly live there for quite a number of days before I decide to go out and be part of the world again.

Anyhow, Charlie cooked quite a huge batch of pancit which we all ate. Honestly, I was so hungry I ate quite a lot. And while we were eating, we also were passing around a bottle of Matador. We finished the whole lot of pancit and we also finished two bottles of Matador. We went home riding in two motorcycles and we had fun riding through the dark roads that connected Sto. Domingo to Legazpi.

The following morning, I woke up at 5:30am to get ready for work. That is an hour early than my usual and I really felt like I was drugged or something. I went to work at 7am to pay those unworked hours. And I was at work until 6pm. I just could not stay any minute longer lest I faint.

So that's the major reason why I am so tired right now.

But yeah. I'm happy too. At least I can say that it's a fun feeling when you have a person who likes you just because you're you. Oh you know. Gustong maki-jowa. Well, despite me being fat, he still wants me. Haha. Love is really blind.

Don't get me wrong. I don't like him as a jowa. It's just that I like the feeling of having someone like you. That's all. Tralalalala....
