People come and go in our lives. Sometimes, we may not want them to leave just yet but they have to go and we are all left with nothing but memories.
It is hard at first but if we are strong enough, we can make it through and we can be stronger even. Sometimes, our minds just get too cloudy that we cannot stop and think and realize why it's happening or what we can do. But it's part of human nature.
All things are hard at first but you slowly move on as each day passes. I don't think it's wise to live in the past when you have the future already looking down on you.

High school. That was when I learned how to play tongits. Some kids have learned playing that game early on but my dad hated any games with cards so there never were any cards at home. But when I had friends who were older than me, we would hang out anywhere and they would produce a pack of cards. I felt left out because I had no idea how to play games like tongits and pusoy dos. I asked them to teach me. And they did. It's been years since I've played tongits and I was happy when I asked Rico, an elementary and high school classmate, to give me a free access code to his PC tongits game. Now, I'm playing every night each time I go home. And I'm having total fun. Haha. It's quite addicting, that I tell you. Just so you know, though, this ain't a paid post. Haha.

Last night, a couple colleagues and I went out to have some Matador. We were having a hard time looking for a place where we could drink and Francis volunteered that he knew a place in Daraga. And off we went, and we were only three. We had a quick dinner and started drinking. We were somewhere within the neck of the bottle of Matador when more colleagues and friends joined us. I even had my cousin join us because my mother said that I should go home early (or go home the following morning instead) because my dad was one of this 'tantrums' (and when he has tantrums, no one should cross him or else they want to suffer - a lot). I told my cousin I was sleeping at their house so he had to come with me. Good thing we agreed or I may go homeless that night. Hehe. After finishing that whole bottle (I think we all were out of practice), we went to the Chef's House but there was some kind of event and we just didn't feel like it. So we went to Penarakan instead. My head was really throbbing that night. Maybe because I have not been drinking like I usually did. Oh well. I popped an Advil and still didn't feel the pain go away. Gah. Just when I wasn't thinking about any curfew.

I have this friend, N, who's gay and who's been having this relationship with, yes, another gay. I'm not against that but what I was not particularly fine with was when I learnt that my friend and his partner had been spending plain too much that they have loans from different banks. I am glad though when they took out a loan to pay off all other loans. At least, they had learned not to spend too much and to just focus on paying that one big huge loan. They, at least, would not have to think of all the papers from the various banks. It was just one loan and though the amount may be huge, it helps to think that it was from one bank only. I'm pretty sure that if my friend heard about credit card for bad credit, he may have considered this option as well. I heard they're doing pretty okay now financially.

Who is Atomicgirl?
Atomicgirl is a single mom who is currently jobless. Well, she does freelance SEO and writing jobs and that keeps her busy. She dreams of being a professional photographer and she dreams of owning her very own dSLR. She loves the Internet and she also collects movies, and good reads. She considers herself to be a fan of Johnny Depp and David Cook. At present, her constant source of happiness is her son, James Nicholas Sky, who is a bubbly and talkative two-and-a-half-year old. Although Atomicgirl graduated with a BA Communication Research degree, this feisty Bicolana is quite satisfied with the industry that she is involved in right now. She now lives in Legazpi City although she sometimes misses the fun times she had during her 6-year stay in the jungle of Manila. She is a woman. She is a writer. She is a mother. And she is most definitely not a saint.
