Shopaholic

I don't like malls that much. The book section and the VCD sections are the only parts that I love going to. Otherwise, I'd rather stay outside.

Anyhow, I think my love for books and movies have led me to eBay. I can call myself a shopaholic but I can honestly and proudly say that I don't go about buying just about anything. Well, just about anything that has nothing to do with VCDs and books. Or else, I'm a total goner.

Yesterday, two packages arrived for me. One contained my two Harry Potter books. I'm trying to complete the whole HP series before I actually go about reading them again. I was able to read those books before by borrowing from friends. I never did own one until around a month ago. I have a four more to go before I complete the set yet I still have a lot on my list that I need to cross out before I can say "Success!"

The other package contained two books - Second Child and Striptease - plus one VCD, West Side Story.

Now yesterday was also a day of VCD shopping for me. I put my bids on various VCDs that I am now estimating would play around the amount of a thousand pesos or more. These original VCDs have a range of around 35php to 70php. So just imagine how many VCDs I bought.

I guess that's money well spent. On my end, at least.

Who is Atomicgirl?
Atomicgirl is a single mom who is currently jobless. Well, she does freelance SEO and writing jobs and that keeps her busy. She dreams of being a professional photographer and she dreams of owning her very own dSLR. She loves the Internet and she also collects movies, and good reads. She considers herself to be a fan of Johnny Depp and David Cook. At present, her constant source of happiness is her son, James Nicholas Sky, who is a bubbly and talkative two-and-a-half-year old. Although Atomicgirl graduated with a BA Communication Research degree, this feisty Bicolana is quite satisfied with the industry that she is involved in right now. She now lives in Legazpi City although she sometimes misses the fun times she had during her 6-year stay in the jungle of Manila. She is a woman. She is a writer. She is a mother. And she is most definitely not a saint.

Buy me a cup of coffee.
