And so I had this urge to learn more about food and cooking when I got accepted as a blogger for
Baking Press. I honestly can say that I am not a cook and the only thing I can do with food is eat it. I did have dreams of becoming a cook when I was a little kid but they somehow got lost upon growing up.
I do know how to cook some things though like sinangag (fried rice), fried dishes (mostly eggs and hotdogs), and just about that. I learned how to make polvoron and pastillas when I was in high school but because I had no practice, I now do not know how to make them. I have forgotten actually.
But lately, I picked up the need to learn more and I want to learn how to cook more complicated dishes. Like last Sunday, I was able to cook up a batch of carbonara with really creamy sauce. And yesterday, some colleagues and I went to a friend's house so I could learn how to cook tenderloin tips.
Hmmm... I'm now raring to cook tenderloin tips at home. (I want to cook at home so that if the dish turns out badly, I'll be able to face other people for the don't know just how bad I did.)
