*shudder*
First time I heard about it, I felt like I maybe should start walking out of the dentist's clinic. Sounds too evil. You know, Damon and demon. Uh... Oh well.

So I decided to learn more about it last night after I went home. And now it sounds quite promising. The previous dentists that I've gone to said that I should have to go through four extractions. That would be four pre-molars so they can get my teeth straightened out and so I would not have to suffer from a receding gumline and more cavities. But the dentist I went to yesterday told me that they're going to use a new kind of brace and there's a huge chance that I won't have to go through any kind of extraction. It's new and it's as if it's not there.
It's called the
Damon System. And I found it really interesting.
- lesser chances of having to go through extractions
- aligns teeth the natural way and with much comfort
- new kind of braces that look as if they're not even there
- takes a shorter time to straighten teeth out
I may have a go at this one. But it would also mean that I would have to shell out quite a huge amount of money. Well, around 5k to 10k more than the usual. But without extractions, that's quite fine I guess. I may try this one out. I surely have not heard anybody (yet) who has gotten these here in Legazpi. And the dentist has a good reputation after being a friend to two friends of mine and having been one of the heads of the association of dentists here. Not too bad I guess.
