Blackle Is The Green Google

After I discovered
Google, I started using it to make my online searches. I found it far better than
Yahoo!. Now, if you would like to save on energy, I guess you'd better switch search engines. Why don't you try using
Blackle.
So okay. It's the green Google. Well, not actually green literally for it's black. Oh sheesh. I'm sounding confused here. Okay. Let me start. Blackle is black but it is green. It is black for it has a black background which, according to those behind it, helps us save on energy, thus making it green. (I hope I did not confuse you even more.)
It helps you save much IF you are using a CRT monitor. If you are using an LCD monitor, then experts are saying that Blackle would not work really well in it's aim at helping save energy. For a CRT monitor, you use up 74 watts if you use Google but if you use Blackle, you only use 59 watts. Now in the long run, that would mean huge numbers.
I'm having trouble using Blackle though. It's giving me quite a headache. Black? No thank you. And it does not have much to work with like image searches, news searches, and all those other things you find at Google.
But anyhow, if you're interested in more Blackle-like search engines, you may want to use these:

Darkoogle, Earthle, and Greenergle
